I MR-J3-A do MR-J3-A a project, an ordinary motor does not stop rotating, the speed is about 700 rpm, an ordinary machine with an encoder to detect rotation angle, corresponding to the signal to control another servo motor. Control requirements following
1- when the encoder detects that the ordinary motor rotates from 0-180 degrees, the servo motor does not rotate.
2- when the encoder detects common motor rotation, from 180-36

There is no limit to the number of motors starting and stopping in 100W. As long as the inertia ratio is lower than that
15 times is ok.
